Who is Cordelia?

Cordelia is an ally for people of all races, ethnicities, nationalities, classes, abilities, sizes, shapes, orientations, & placements along the gender spectrum.

She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and a Juris Doctor degree. By day, she continues to work full time. By night, she runs the Instagram titled @codependentrecovery & hosts a podcast called We Heal Together Podcast. She also wrote Let’s Heal Together: the Breakup Edition, which is a 98-page workbook for people going through a divorce or breakup (available worldwide in print or ebook). She is a survivor of abuse, and she has taken to the streets to help others heal.

@codependentrecovery is a play on words, and Cordelia picked this name because she sees herself as someone who has struggled with codependency. Codependency is just one of 100s of topics that Cordelia has created content about.

Cordelia takes pride in the amount of time she spends researching her content, and she values research-backed work. Likewise, she strongly believes attribution and citations are important. She is mindful of citing sources.

We Heal Together & @codependentrecovery are for people: (1) working on loving themselves, (2) navigating codependency + shame + trauma, (3) surviving emotional abuse + physical abuse + NPD abuse + sexual abuse, (4) working on bettering themselves, (5) looking to learn more about psychology, mental health, and a variety of topics. Both provide people tools, knowledge, resources, and recommendations for books, workbooks, and music. Most importantly, both provide safe spaces for people to heal together, and it highlights stories and commons struggles people are facing.
